Is it help?

Is it Help?

Help is to give or provide what is necessary to accomplish a task or satisfy a need; contribute strength or means to; render assistance to; cooperate effectively with; aid; assist and what not.

"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others." - Dalai Lama

But the story is very different, children are trafficked from their villages and are forced to beg on the urban streets. The children and elderly women begging on the street are often forced beggars – victims of human trafficking.

For their destination, traffickers chose high wealth concentration cities. There is a physical archetype that traffickers follow when choosing beggars. Often they chose children with handicaps. In a number of reported cases cited in the study traffickers hurt and mutilate beggars on purpose. By maiming and deforming them they create more revenue. A handicapped child earns three times more than a healthy child.

Child begging violates the basic human rights and protection framework of UN Convention on Right of Child (1989). Beggary fits into ILO Convention No.182 on the Worst Forms of Child Labour (1999), as an outcome of illicit human trafficking and is one work that is hazardous physically, emotionally, morally and intellectually to the child’s well-being.

Political Imbalance | India

"I thank President Pena Nieto for his positive and constructive support for India's membership of the Nuclear Suppliers Group," PM Modi said. He began his statement by saying "Muchas gracias, Senor Presidente! (Thank you, Mr President for your generous welcome)."

Yesterday, while shuffling News channel I found this man Standing for India and talking about Nucluear non poleforation and dissarmaament, India's NSG application and what not. It felt like Indian Ministry was in justified hand of Narendra Modi and he know the best to be done for the nation.

And right after that is was Miss. Myawati talking about what wrongs and rights they did, with respect to their opposition party. They had a large gathering supporting the agenda. The speech was full of only to things hatred and a craving for the position.

Mayawati tried to woo dalits to vote in her favour in the name of Dr. Ambedkar. Dr. Ambedkar, also not so ironically said, "You cannot build anything on the foundation of caste. You cannot build up a nation. You cannot build up a morality."

Just may be the local people are more interested in the topics discussed by their favourite politicians, but some where now it is more important to discuss topics that are more important specially in the field of research and development rather than discussing cat fights between these ministers.

Seeing two very different types of discussions at the same time show the gap between two points of Indian politics.
